UPLOAD is the university’s institutional repository, an open-access database of scholarly outputs. It includes theses and dissertations, pre- and post-refereed journal articles, conference proceedings, working papers, reports, and datasets.

Depositing in UPLOAD

To submit your work in the repository, you can:

  • Fill out the Borrow & Request Form and select Repository Deposit option.
  • Or deposit your submission directly on the repository website (see detailed instructions below).

Steps for direct submission:

    Register for an account: Kindly use your official UP Mail (@up.edu.ph or @upou.edu.ph). Registrations with non-UP email addresses will not be accepted. Click here for detailed instructions.

    Apply authorization to deposit: Wait for a confirmation email from the repository manager after your identity is verified. Click here for detailed instructions, and refer to this link to see who is eligible to deposit their work.

    Deposit your work: In this step, you will need to decide whether to assign a DOI to your work, apply a Creative Commons license, and determine if you want to place your submission under embargo. Click here for detailed instructions.

    Await confirmation: After successfully depositing your work, you will receive a confirmation email with the assigned handle. FEd and FICS submissions are reviewed and accepted by program supports. If any issues with the submission record are identified, resubmission may be required.
