The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Library conducted an orientation for students about library resources titled “From Draft to Submission: Integrating Library Resource for Comprehensive Research and Writing Success” on 20 September 2024.
The BatStateU delegation, led by Ms. Analiza A. Frane, Library Services College Librarian III, sought insights from UPOU on its current processes and strategies for enhancing its repository system. The meeting took place at the UPOU headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna.

As a continuation of the University Library’s initiative and in preparation for the requirements of the UP Open University Digital Repository, the University Library conducted a series of workshops on Digital Repository for all UPOU offices/units from May to June 2023. Ms. Jennifer Belen-Bunao, University Librarian, served as the resource person for the workshop series.
Two UPOU Faculty of Education (FEd) students bagged the grand prizes in the University of the Philippines (UP) System-wide gamification activity, “The Great InfoHunt 2022.” Ms. Fria Shayne Nuñez, BES student, won the Apple iPad and Ms. Rich-Anne Dayo, MSSE student, won the Lenovo laptop.
