All non-members of the UP System may take advantage of the University Library resources within the library premises subject to the rules and regulations governing their use.

Specific guidelines:

  • Alumni, former faculty members and students honorably discharged from the University
    1. Library materials are for room use only.
    2. Alumni, former faculty members and students honorably discharged from the University may be allowed to use the library for five (5) days for free per semester.
    3. Beyond five (5) days, the research fee shall be assessed (refer to Schedule of Fines and Fees)
  • Students from other schools
    1. Library materials are for room use only.
    2. Research fee shall be assessed.
    3. Payment grants one-day library access.
  • Government agency researchers
    1. Library materials are for room use only.
    2. May be allowed to use the library for five (5) days for free per semester.
    3. Beyond five (5) days, the research fee shall be assessed (refer to Schedule of Fines and Fees)
  • Private researchers
    1. Library materials are for room use only.
    2. Research fee shall be assessed.
    3. Payment grants one-day library access.

  • Library consortium members
    1. Access to resources is subject to Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
