Searching for resources

Use ilib to search for books, theses, and other printed resources, use ilib/koha. Be sure to note the material’s location when browsing.

To search for ebooks, journals, and other digital resources, use the discovery service on the library website or log in to OpenAthens account with your UP Mail. The search box is also conveniently located at the center of the website’s homepage.

Borrowing, renewing, returning books

UPOU constituents can borrow materials from any of the libraries in the system. For details, you may refer to the borrowing privileges.

Submitted print theses and dissertations are for room use only and cannot be reproduced.

Once you return your overdue item, fines will be calculated. For details on how to settle the fine, please refer to the use and access policy.

Yes. You may access our university-subscribed resources remotely via OpenAthens using your UP mail.

OpenAthens is the library’s single sign-on portal for accessing database subscriptions. University community members can log-in using their UP mail (@up.edu.ph).
